Danielle and Phil’s tropical inspired Wedding in Austin was a fusion of elegant Tulum vibes and lively Brazilian flair. The details were inspired by the bride’s hometown of Rio de Janeiro, and their love for tropical beach club vibes.
From the moment guests entered the Austin venue, Springdale Station, they were transported to a tropical paradise, full of lush greenery and warm pops of color. The color palette, predominantly green with punches of fiery reds and corals, added a vibrant touch to the modern Austin wedding venue. The bride even took the time to cleanse the venue’s energy with Palo Santo prior to guests arriving.
The Tropical Inspired Details
The bride carried a gorgeous bouquet with subtle tropical colors and interesting tropical leaves. We designed the groom’s boutonniere with orange orchids to compliment the bouquet and vibrant hues of the greenery focused wedding. The ceremony featured large statement arrangements sat on top of acrylic pedestals filled with floral, with an assortment of dried and fresh foliage, to add layers of texture and dimension. Rattan baskets overflowed with a variety of greenery and plants complemented the main arrangements. We used pincushion protea, red anthuriums, orange orchids, and exotic bird of paradise alongside large plants, like monstera leaves, for a visually interesting, Tulum-inspired vibe.
We added interest to the reception space with a variety of centerpiece styles. Repurposed ceremony arrangements sat on top of gold stands to add height. Floral frogs and bud vases added fun shape and dimension when mixed in with pillar candles and floating candles. Banana leaf plants enhanced the tropical feel, while amber votives and disco balls added a touch of warmth and sophistication. Softening the venue’s lighting, rattan shades brought an inviting glow over the reception. All together, these details created an atmosphere of intimacy and romance. We crafted each flower arrangement and decor piece with the beauty of the jungle in mind.
Danielle and Phil’s tropical inspired wedding in Austin proved to be a celebration of love, culture, and natural beauty. From the lush greenery to the vibrant pops of color, every detail was designed to embody their shared vision and journey.
